Burnlounge Lawsuit Brian Underwood

Brian Underwood Lawsuit

One of the men behind the biggest mobile marketing service called Rippln is Brian Underwood. Founder of LocalAdLink and iZigg, Brian Underwood was part of Burnlounge, a company that went through a difficult lawsuit.

Fortunately, Brian had nothing to do with the scams conducted by his team mates. His hierarchic position wasn’t that high in the system. The Brian Underwood lawsuit is present everywhere online. Those looking to sabotage his future projects create all kind of articles containing these terms “Brian Underwood lawsuit”.

 Burnlounge Lawsuit

The Burnlounge was shut down by the US FTC after FTC filed and won their lawsuit:

"On June 6, 2007, the Plaintiff, Federal Trade Commission filed a Complaint for Injunctive and Other Equitable Relief against BurnLounge, Inc., Juan Alexander Arnold, John Taylor, Rob DeBoer and Scott Elliot pursuant to Section 13(b) of the Federal Trade Commission Act (“FTC Act”), 15 U.S.C. § 53(b), alleging that they had engaged in deceptive acts or practices in violation of Section 5(a) of the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45(a). A settlement was agreed upon between the Commission and Defendant Scott Elliot, and the Court entered a stipulated final order for permanent injunction and other equitable relief against him (Docket No. 248) on June 16, 2008."

As seen in this extraction from the file, Brian Underwood wasn’t involved in this lawsuit. He dropped Burnlounge and joined LocalAdLink, where he did a great job. After iZigg, he partnered with others in order to launch Rippln, the most interesting mobile marketing strategy that makes it possible for businesses to communicate and interaction with their prospective clients.
